Hello and welcome to our very own story…
The foundations of Tracy Williamson Designs date back to 2010 when Alan and I started our very own wedding journey. Following Alan’s proposal to me, on bended knee in the pouring rain by Lake Ullswater in the Lake District our wedding planning journey had begun however we literally had no idea where to start planning nor any knowledge of which suppliers to trust with what was to become one of the most important and memorable days of our lives.
At the time we both held demanding careers so any free time was very precious. Being unfamiliar with wedding planning we found it difficult to make a start. There were so many aspects to consider and decide upon, then begun the search for suppliers followed by lengthy research and negotiating with numerous companies and then finalising the details – there was so much to organise and make a firm decision on! But the stress of planning didn’t end there as we had to liaise with the various suppliers that we had booked as well as negotiate their set up, all with the added worry of whether everything would go to plan on the day.
Being unfamiliar with organising a wedding we found few suppliers who could provide us what we were searching for – a comprehensive range of quality products and services at affordable rates. With numerous companies competing for our booking, each offering different products and services we really needed somebody to guide us with the process of styling our wedding and this is where the inspiration for Tracy Williamson Designs began.
Since our wedding in 2011 the wedding industry has exploded into a multi-million pound industry and the choices available have become immense and daunting to many of our couples. Over the years we have styled 100’s of weddings and events of different sizes, styles and budgets. We have found that as the choices have widened and the styling for weddings have become more unique and personalised that we have witnessed first hand how daunting it can be to plan your own wedding which why we provide a bespoke, personal service for our clients, expertly designed to suit your exact requirements.
Alan and I have worked with numerous clients over the years and understand the wedding and events industry inside out and have the experience of what it takes to plan the most perfect wedding or event for you. Our mission is to help you plan and style your special occasion and guide you through the process with as little stress as possible.
Our passion for event styling is evident in the attentive personal service which we provide. As we operate as a small husband and wife team we will spend time connecting with you, familiarising ourselves with your vision. We will consider how you would like your special day to look and feel, and what reflects your own personal style, both individually and as a couple but more importantly we want you to enjoy your very own journey and of course we will always be on hand, every step of the way, offering our advice and ensuring that no detail is overlooked.
